The Cruxshadows will once again visit Boise for their fourth visit to present their Immortal Tour, with special guests Ayria and I-Scintilla. Bands will be playing at The Visual Arts Collective (VAC), 3638 Osage, Garden City, Idaho on Wednesday, October 1st. Doors open @ 8 p.m., show starts at 9 p.m. and tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door. This show is 21+.

Mankind Is Obsolete is on their Trapped Inside tour, performing in Boise on Tuesday, August 5th at Terrapin Station (16th & Main, downtown Boise). Show starts @ 9 p.m.

Ego Likeness is a darkwave/gothic/rock band from Baltimore which originally was created in 1999 by Steven Archer and writer Donna Lynch. The band has been signed to well-known independent label Dancing Ferret Discs since 2004 and has three albums to their credit including Dragonfly and Water to The Dead.

Tickets are just $5 at the door and the show starts at 9 p.m. This the second visit to Boise for Ego Likeness who appeared with The Cruxshadows and Ayria just one year ago, and who played to a very enthusiastic, appreciative crowd. Be sure to check out their latest album, Order of the Reptile, and their newest EP, South.

Edge of Dawn – Enjoy the Fall, available May 8. Songwriter Mario Schumacher joined with Seabound lead vocalist Frank Spinath and what resulted is one of Germany’s most innovative electro acts around.

God Module – Let’s Go Dark. Available now on Metropolis. Elements of synthpop, darkwave, techno, goth and EBM make this lineup an unstoppable powerstation of sound. Founded in 1999 by Jasyn Bangert, GM have released three additional full-length albums prior to the new release – Artificial, Perception, and Viscera.

KMFDM – Adios and Symbols, available May 8th. German Industrial pioneers are back with two classic album releases. Kick it with KMFDM and watch for more re-issues of other favorites.

Funker Vogt – Aviator, available May 22 from Metropolis. Aggressive electronic energy that displays fresh form with great musical diversity on this third release from the German artists.

The Birthday Massacre – Nothing and Nowhere, available June 5. Re-issue of the band’s self-released 2002 album with an additional 5 tracks previously unavailable. Intoxicating female vocals are shrouded with heavy guitar, bass, and drums for a scintillating electro sound reminiscent of the 80’s but with a new twist.

Grendel – Harsh Generation, available June 5. Dark and formidable electronic sounds for the underground dancefloor, this European act has completed a full decade of album production and deliver a punch in this new release with catchy synths, driving bass-lines, and uneven vocals to push the adrenaline and get you moving.

On December 8th, you will have the pleasure of seeing Attrition at The Bouquet in downtown Boise with special guests High Blue Star. Show starts at 9 p.m and tickets are $5. Attrition are one of the most respected and talented bands in the industrial/gothic/experimental genres, and have stood the test of time as veteran musicians in the scene. Their first album put out in 1982, Death House showcases their penchant for combining modern and classical sounds they are so well-known for producing. From their early works containing stark and simpler componets to a more mature sound of orchestral and electronic aesthetics, the melding of industrial and gothic soundscapes into one is so smooth and flawless, it is easy to see why Attrition have been around as long as they have.
