The Cruxshadows will once again visit Boise for their fourth visit to present their Immortal Tour, with special guests Ayria and I-Scintilla. Bands will be playing at The Visual Arts Collective (VAC), 3638 Osage, Garden City, Idaho on Wednesday, October 1st. Doors open @ 8 p.m., show starts at 9 p.m. and tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door. This show is 21+.

Ego Likeness is a darkwave/gothic/rock band from Baltimore which originally was created in 1999 by Steven Archer and writer Donna Lynch. The band has been signed to well-known independent label Dancing Ferret Discs since 2004 and has three albums to their credit including Dragonfly and Water to The Dead.

Tickets are just $5 at the door and the show starts at 9 p.m. This the second visit to Boise for Ego Likeness who appeared with The Cruxshadows and Ayria just one year ago, and who played to a very enthusiastic, appreciative crowd. Be sure to check out their latest album, Order of the Reptile, and their newest EP, South.

Attrition and High Blue Star, The Bouquet, December 8th

attrition_blue_sm.jpg On December 8th, you will have the pleasure of seeing Attrition at The Bouquet in downtown Boise with special guests High Blue Star. Show starts at 9 p.m and tickets are $5. Attrition are one of the most respected and talented bands in the industrial/gothic/experimental genres, and have stood the test of time as veteran musicians in the scene. Their first album put out in 1982, Death House showcases their penchant for combining modern and classical sounds they are so well-known for producing. From their early works containing stark and simpler componets to a more mature sound of orchestral and electronic aesthetics, the melding of industrial and gothic soundscapes into one is so smooth and flawless, it is easy to see why Attrition have been around as long as they have.
